Verdict

Feel The Pinch hasn't run since a shock victory at Uttoxeter in June and though his stable is still going strong he could find the ground too soft. Garry Clermont has won a point-to-point, a bumper and a maiden hurdle on this track and broke a blood vessel when beaten at long odds-on back here in December. LANGER DAN followed a debut success over the course and distance by landing a Wetherby Listed contest before finishing runner-up to the odds-on Botox Has in a Triumph Hurdle trial at Cheltenham. That should be good enough for this though Archie Brown is an interesting addition to Paul Nicholls team after just one bumper run for Stuart Crawford at Ayr.
