Verdict

Prince Hector looked like winning when taking up the running inside the final furlong over this trip at Belewstown but was caught on the line. POWERFUL DON attempted to make all at Cork and though headed 2f out kept on well and can lead all the way from his inside berth. Kojin has now had eight starts and, after several good efforts, probably wasn't right at Roscommon last time. Knight Of Malta is 0-20 but Dante's Pass is a half-brother to two 7f winners and Rivers Of Tay is by Gleneagles out of a winning miler.
