ALL THE KING'S MEN made a promising start over this trip at the Curragh so it was a surprise to see him dropped back to 5f at Naas and even more of a surprise when he was beaten by stable companion Isle Of Innisfree. He was staying on strongly that day and should gain compensation. Mofakker made a good start over 7f at Roscommon before finding little when tackling this trip in what looked a decent Leopardstown maiden. Calorific has been racing over further and may find this on the short side, a remark that also applies to Check My Pulse who made a reasonable start over 7f at the latter track.
