Little Garcon holds Sir Frank Wappat on their latest running but both may have to settle for minor honours behind SUMMERINTHECITY who gets a confident vote. Jeremy Noseda's colt is bred to be very decent indeed and it's interesting he was pitched into a conditions race on his second start having taken second on debut. The horse justified that decision by winning at Doncaster despite the fact his trainer had expressed big concerns over his fitness. With that in mind we can expect a big run off a mark of 85, especially as the horse he beat that day is now rated over 90. Sir Frank Wappat disappointed last time and has a higher mark to run off here but it might pay to forgive him one bad run and take the horse to reverse form with Little Garcon, who himself needs to learn to settle better. The pair should be relatively close together here and may well have too much for Lowdown who may be flattered by his finishing position at Newmarket last time and has fitness to prove. Amary landed a touch on her return this year but struggled off this mark last time and can only be watched along with Imperial Delight who appears to have plenty of weight for what he's actually achieved. Summerinthecity could well be a cut above these and he's taken to demonstrate that view by galloping to victory.
