    Verdict

    Peggie Sue failed to land a hat-trick when only fifth off today’s mark at Haydock. It remains to be seen if Inspired Thought can do better than that as she bids for a treble raised 3lb having won over 6f at Hamilton last time. Both Shining and Bowson Fred drop back down in class and could go well with their respective riders utilising allowances but Ellie MacKenzie also claims 7lb on ASHPAN SAM and that pair won one of these events over track and trip last summer. Racing off the same mark today, a repeat looks on the cards.
