Marshall Aid has been knocking on the door off this mark but is 0-14 in career starts and may find one too good again. Bamako Du Chatelet won at Wolverhampton last month but was then only fourth behind Attain here in an amateurs’ contest. Light Of Air was only beaten a neck on his all-weather debut at Kempton, however, and his stable has been in good form over jumps so he may be the danger to PINWOOD. Adam West’s gelding won by three lengths over course and distance last month and then ran well off his new mark over 2m at Chelmsford - he is clearly much improved since last year.
