Plenty of deadwood in this but ANNEXATION is getting closer with every outing and was placed over 7f at Ayr on his handicap debut. He may prove good enough in this. It was soft ground when Hey Ho Let's Go placed at Leicester and he’s been well beaten since while Charlie Arthur finished closer over 7f at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start than he did over a mile last time. Orliko won off a similar mark at Brighton last month and Redemptive was placed off today’s mark earlier.
