Verdict
Tesary sets a fair standard here and is taken to score in the opener at the main expense of Comtesse Lalande and African Storm. The selection made a promising debut at York before running well when a good second behind Masa on this track last time. She looks like a nice filly and with further improvement still to come she should take all the beating. African Storm finished fifth of six runners on his debut at Sandown, but the one that finished behind him that day Hornpipe has since come out and won, so the form has been given a boost and he could be interesting if the market speaks in his favour. Comtesse Lalande is a well-bred filly and represents a leading yard so she is another that has to be considered and she is well drawn in stall 8. First Rule has shown promise on both of his runs to date and he may now be ready to put his best foot forward, but in an open race Tesary is given the narrow vote.
