Few make any appeal and Shifter failed to cope with a 4lb rise at Chelmsford having won at the same track before that when beating Ravi Road. The latter has been thereabouts subsequently without threatening to win but KENILWORTH KING was beaten only a nose at Wolverhampton on his handicap debut.
