Ron's Pet Perhaps better over 7f but put up a decent effort when 2nd to September Harvest at Southwell last week. Decent chance at these weights.
Cruise Course winner but has finished stone last in his last two outings. Considerable improvement needed if he is just to make the frame.
Innkeeper Still a maiden and although plummetting down the handicap it will be a surprise if it can make the frame.
Scissor Ridge Ended long losing run here last week over 7f. However he has yet to record a victory over a mile in a long career and others are preferred.
Acid Test Definitely racing off a winnable mark and lost nothing apart from the prize money when beaten here by Most Saucy over this distance. Should be winning soon.
Hadleigh (IRE) Looks weighted up to his best but is a course and distance winner and cannot be ruled out lightly.
Malaah (IRE) Nine length winner of a maiden over course and distance seven days ago. Six pound penalty for that victory may not inconvenience him off this lowly handicap mark. Definite chance.
Dolphinelle (IRE) Useful animal on his day. Has been hurdling (not disgraced) and the type to spring a surprise. Yet to win over a mile however.
Hi Mujtahid (IRE) Suited to a mile and is a course and distance winner. However this half-brother to Derby winner High Rise is a little unreliable and needs everything to go his way.
Village Native (FR) Can win races over this course and distance but they tend to come in lower grade races. Geniune sort..
Borderline Moderate maiden at best, never runs a particularly bad race but never seems to run a good one.
French Fancy (IRE) No worthwhile form , hard to fancy this grey filly.
