      Verdict

None of these eight runners can be ruled out here, however Lemonette is one of the most consistent and gets the confident vote ahead of Nero's Return and Cleaver. John Hills' filly has not been out of the first two in her last five runs and her only win has come over this trip. Eddie Ahern gets on well with this ex-french filly and she should take plenty of beating today. Cleaver is yet to win in two runs on the all-weather but must go close if able to translate her decent turf form to this surface. Captain General is two from two at this track and therefore warrants utmost respect with Frankie Dettori an eye-catching jockey booking, especially as he has been dropped two pounds for his recent below-par run. Wild Pitch looks weighted up to the hilt whilst Nero's Return has plenty of experience and should go well if handling the surface on his first run here. An open handicap, and Lemonette gets the narrow verdict.
