      Verdict

      NIGEL NOTT missed the break over 6f at Chelmsford and never looked like winning after that. He’d earlier won over today’s minimum trip at the latter track and gets another chance in this with Mick Appleby’s yard in such good form. Lihou also won on his penultimate start when scoring over track and trip with Verne Castle back in sixth while the remainder of these were all well beaten in the same race at Wolverhampton last month with Leodis Dream finishing ahead of Royal Birth, Watchable and Ornate.
