        Verdict

        SHAMAMEYA missed the whole of last year but returned to action with a good effort at Wolverhampton on her handicap debut. Beaten only a neck, David Simcock’s filly finished in front of both Javelin and Dancing Rave and can go one better in this with further progress on the cards. The latter pair look the main dangers given Bedtime Bella’s earlier success came in a claimer at Southwell and Alicia Darcy will need to step up on previous efforts over today’s trip.
