Lazzaz gets the vote over Zeloso, with Airgusta, Larad and Bretton all holding claims of a sort as well. This should not take much winning, and hopes are high that Lazzaz can gain his first success on Lingfield's Polytrack. Peter Hiatt's charge has been successful at Wolverhampton in the past, as well as picking up a couple of races on Turf at Warwick last year. He has shaped well on both outings this year, including when second under today's pilot Marie King at Wolverhampton on 4 February. He was probably turned out too quickly when third at Southwell three days later but still ran well to finish third and in this company he must have a major say. Airgusta should maintain his placing over Larad on these terms, having finished a head in front of that rival when second to Annus Iacundus at Wolverhampton. Bretton has much more to do than when winning a seller, and a bigger danger is likely to be Zeloso who had Annus Iacundus in second when scoring here last month. On that form he holds both Airgusta and Larad, but we feel that Lazzaz has stronger claims.
