The first division of this sprint could provide some useful pointers as The Strig beat Showboating here a week ago and the latter should figure in this with a similar effort. Sermons Mount also has claims in the previous race and he finished behind HATTA STREAM over C&D last month. Lydia Pearce's sprinter is 3lb higher today but remains on a winning mark and is just preferred to Speak The Truth, who landed a C&D double when successful here last Saturday.
