Verdict
Kachy will likely start the hot-favourite having broken the course records at both Wolverhampton on Boxing Day and over track and trip last time in a couple of outings since undergoing a wind-op. A wide-margin winner on both occasions, he’ll take the beating though found the smart French sprinter City Light too good in this last year. The latter arrived having won on the all-weather at Chantilly and FORZA CAPITANO landed the same race on last month’s reappearance. Already a Listed winner, Henri-Alex Pantall’s charge has a sporting chance at a decent price. Encrypted won a Listed sprint over course and distance in November and a big run is expected with Ryan Moore taking over the reins while the Irish raider Alfredo Arcano warmed-up nicely for this with a cosy win at Dundalk a fortnight ago and is another to consider. There’s little between recent winner George Bowen and Merhoob on earlier running at Wolverhampton and both are preferred to Encore d'Or, Royal Birth and Stone Of Destiny over today’s 6f.
