      Verdict

      The headgear combination of tongue-tie and blinkers has brought about a big improvement in VELVET VISTA. She has something to prove over this extra distance having landed a recent hat-trick over 7f but should confirm running with Princesse Animale if lasting home. Mr Mac does most of his winning here though is raised 5lb for his latest success while Black Medick recorded a double over track and trip at the end of last year but has been beaten by Dutugamunu subsequently. The latter was placed here last time while Merweb and Saucy Encore drop down from 1m2f.
