        Verdict

        One or two very interesting newcomers in this, among them John Gosden’s Frankel colt NEW KING. He’s a half-brother to five winners between 1m and 1m4f and this looks a good starting point. Godolphin’s Winter Sky is a half-brother to three winners and Muraad is a 160,000gns son of Dark Angel. Of those with experience. Barys is blinkered having failed to justify favouritism last time at Redcar. Edifice, Baryshnikov and Garrison Commander have also shown ability so can’t be dismissed out of hand.
