In depth

Verdict

Ulysses was beaten out of sight when Shaw's Cross, who has improved since joining Paul Henderson, won at Sandown last month. But a bad blunder three out cost CLAYTON (NAP) dear here 11 days ago and he’ll no doubt try and make all again. If he gets his own way out in front, he could take some catching. Legend Of France has been in decent form at Plumpton but usually takes a hold while Future Security has had yet another lay-off since finishing second at Market Rasen last February. The Major General needs some help from the handicapper and Cougar Kid is hard to place while an absence since May won’t help Potters Midnight.
