      Verdict

Both Hackbridge and The Night King bid for hat-tricks having completed doubles over 1m2f at this track and Chelmsford respectively. But both also have a bit to prove on earlier attempts at today's trip while Bamako Du Chatelet was placed over 1m4f last time but has something to find on collateral form with recent Kempton winner Dono di Dio. Aldrin has shown progressive form over hurdles for David Pipe and is preferred to another hurdles winner in Fearsome as both return to the Flat but TAKE TWO carried top weight to victory in this contest last year and is fancied to make another bold bid racing off the same mark with a recent outing under his belt.
