Verdict
Course and distance winner Akhmatova looks the pick of Gerald Butler's pair ahead of Sing Sweetly as she's the one best served by today's trip and has proved herself thoroughly consistent on artificial surfaces. On her penultimate start she took second behind a progressive filly and if running to a similar level she'll be bang there at the death. However, she is vulnerable to anything progressive and BAHAMIAN MUSIC may be just that, having gone close to making it two-from-two on artificial surfaces when failing by the narrowest of margins here last time. That day the steady pace was against her and, off the same mark with a couple of prominent racers in opposition, she can gain compensation. Mazamorra is one such pace angle and she's surely better than she showed at Wolverhampton, a course that seems to suit fellow front-runner Nafura who is another to consider in a cracking handicap.
