      Verdict

      SWIFT APPROVAL has not been at his best on recent starts and improvement is required but it could be forthcoming on this return to Turf. Dropped to a mark of under 80 for the first time since 2015, P J McDonald is a good booking if he can rediscover the very best of last season's handicap form. War Glory and Regimented provide the Hannon team with a strong hand and the former looks their likeliest contender dropping down a level. Lamloon has been quiet for a while but is back to a mark off which he has been more than competitive in the past.
