ORCHARD SUPREME may be ready to blossom and he heads a short-list which includes Sarah Park and Osteopathic Remedy. Hurricane Spirit sprung a surprise at Kempton and bids to follow up from a 4lb higher mark which is far from insurmountable given that he once had a three figure rating. Uniquely Poised, former stablemate Novikov and Multakka have plenty to prove following poor displays but none can be confidently ruled out. Osteopathic Remedy is making his all-weather debut and comes into this race on the back of good runs in defeat behind Wannabe King and Harrison George so he could figure prominently from the same mark if handling the surface. That remains to be seen though so we're going to side with a proven performer who shaped as though a return to winning ways was imminent when fourth behind Sarah Park at Goodwood. He's actually 5lbs worse off but he's a better performer on this surface so that's no concern as he's 3lbs lower than when winning at Wolverhampton in January. Richard Hughes, who gets on well with him, is back on board and Orchard Supreme looks poised to hit the target.
