Just twelve runners, but a very competitive event with the vote going to Easily Averted, but amongst many dangers, Red Sovereign and Truly Wonderful could be the ones to chase the selection home. Jamie Osborne has a very good line to the nursery form this season and Easily Averted, who was always holding Averline in a similar race to this at Brighton last time, can add to his tally. Red Sovereign lost her maiden tag in style when beating Distant Times up at Newcastle, and wasn't disgraced on her first handicap venture when finishing a close up third to Matt Blanc, and with the assistance of Keiren Fallon, will make a bold bid. Truly Wonderful wasn't beaten far by the selection in that Brighton contest and is expected to be in the firing line again. So a difficult race to fathom, and after a lot of head scratching, Easily Averted is the pick of the bunch.
