In the opener, Belle Encore gets a solid vote ahead of, principally, Great Belief, Pearl Class and Dash Of Lime. Belle Encore's second to Abide at Salisbury last time stands out here and she looks the one to beat. A return to his autumn form would give Great Belief a very good chance while, much as Canary Dancer has shown bits of form, it is not much better than plating class, but Pearl Class showed some promise in his second and final start last season so, if fit, might go well. Willofcourse would certainly hold claims on his form of two years ago, but he has had his training problems, although the market might provide clues. Finally, Dash Of Lime showed some promise on her Wolves debut last year and watch the betting with regard to Free Angel. There is not much form to go on with regard to the others but, for us, the stand-out choice is Belle Encore.
