        Verdict

        ENCORE D’OR is still improving and won for the third time this year when scoring in this grade at Chelmsford with Sir Maximilian and Bosham well beaten. He’s preferred to Seve, who landed a Class 4 sprint over track and trip last month. Gracious John is not out of this only 2lb higher than when winning at Nottingham on his penultimate start while Poyle Vinnie is without a win so far this year but has finally slipped back down to a winning mark. Sandfrankskipsgo will likely struggle in this grade and Sign of The Kodiac remains 5lb higher than when last scoring on the all-weather.
