Verdict
Another moderate contest filled with mainly exposed types but March Alone is a notable exception and could provide the answer. Amanda Perrett's filly makes her handicap debut on a fair mark having shown ability in maidens over shorter trips and looks capable of making an impact at this level. The daughter of Alzao was far from disgraced when beaten just over six lengths behind the classy Marble Arch over a mile-and-a-half here last month. The race was run in a fast time and it looks solid form so the four-year-old should give a good account with the step up in trip in her favour. Beyond The Pole has been in fair form of late and was first past the post in an amateurs event here last time before being disqualified. However, he had nothing to spare and lacks the scope of the selection so could prove vulnerable to an improving type. Glitter And Glory has claims on January's placed effort over course and distance in handicap company while the lightly raced Decisive is another to consider. Paul Webber's charge showed up well for a long way on his hurdling debut at Sandown last month before tiring in the testing conditions and is an interesting contender on his first all-weather start.
