This is another competitive handicap and we will put forward Aleatricis to the better of Captain Mainwaring and Love And Glory. The selection ran a fair race last time, but the key to his chance today is the trip as he should be suited by this longer distance today. Sir Mark Prescott is a master at finding improvment in horses when they are upped in trip and he can work the oracle again here. Love And Glory is a lightly-raced type and he put in a sound effort last time at Windsor in mid-division behind Sleepy Hollow. If he can build on that then he can go well. Captain Mainwaring won well last time but this faster ground is not sure to suit him and he does have a penalty to overcome. Alan King has two runners in this race so the market may be a decent guide with regards to their respective chances, but Aleatricis has plenty in his favour and gets the pick.
