Verdict

A winner at Bath last month, Havana Goldrush just missed out back at the same track last week and may well pester Covert Mission for the lead. The latter made all over track and trip last time but HUL AH BAH LOO (NAP) was only a length behind in third having finished with his customary late surge and Simon Dow’s charge should get the race run to suit. Lafan scored easily over a longer trip at Wolverhampton last month but is 8lb higher while Menng Tian slips further down the weights.
