Capricho is selected here ahead of Katiypour and Special Place. Sun Catcher looks to be on a competitive mark, having won from a pound-lower rating over six furlongs here, but he has a wide draw to contend with. Katiypour has quickly been given a chance by the handicapper and he is well-weighted if recapturing his form from earlier in the year. Binnion Bay has been raised five pounds for a course and distance win but cannot be ruled out. Northern Desert needs to recapture his course and distance winning form of a year ago if he is to feature, while Glencalvie is on a course and distance winning mark from 2005 and cannot be ruled out that basis, and he also comes here as a recent Flat winner. Dan Buoy might be one for the future, while Power Broker is lightly-raced enough to be given some thought in first-time headgear. Special Place is a potential improver stepping up in trip and can't be ruled out. That said, Capricho finished ahead of him on that occasion on his all-weather debut and there is no doubt that he is potentially well-handicapped based on his best form of old. In what is a tricky race, then, it is Capricho that gets the vote.
