Last year’s winner Jack's Point returns from an absence and 2021 winner Count Otto is struggling for form. Baldomero is at home in this grade though both previous wins came over longer trips while Crimson Sand returns to action for a new yard having been beaten by Tolstoy last summer. The latter finished in front of Tyger Bay when second at Kempton recently while both Laheg and Dora Penny ended last year with victories at Wolverhampton. EMBOUR (NAP) won over the minimum trip here in January but has done most of his winning over today’s distance and this is an easier task than he faced last time.
