This doesn't appear to be a very strong maiden and Came Back is chosen to get the better of Developer and Western Sky. Jamie Osborne's colt has shown plenty of promise in three races to date, culminating in an excellent fourth behind Kingsgate Prince last Sunday. With further improvement expected he looks the one to beat this afternoon. Developer has performed with credit in two recent handicaps off a mark of seventy. That would be good enough to win plenty iof class five maidens here and he looks amajor threat. The interesting newcomer here is Jeremy Noseda's Western Sky. She is superbly bred by Barathea out of a Shirley Heights mare. She may want further in time but should still monitored closely in the better today. The others make little appeal and so in what looks a three horse affair, Came Back gets the verdict
