Verdict

Danny Hand has been on board for both of Wee Small Hours’ wins this season but the nine-year-old is now on a career-high mark. Nerual went close at Punchestown in November and may have needed the run when tried in blinkers at Thurles last month. He still finished ahead of Railway Tommy that day, though is now 0-15. Ray Hackett’s runners boast a good-strike rate here and THE BALLYBOYS won over a shorter trip here in November. He’s been a little inconsistent since but maybe a return to familiar ground will see him put his best hoof forward.
