Verdict
Western Victory has won both starts since returning from an absence and beaten Awayinthewest on both occasions. She landed a Listed event at Gowran last week but BLACK TEARS (NAP) has the edge at the weights. The latter was having her first outing since May when third at Navan last month and Gordon Elliott’s mare is worth another try at this level. Listen Dear continues to struggle but Well Set Up has more scope than most having won a maiden hurdle at Roscommon and is preferred of the remainder.
