Verdict

Famous Name has won three times at this level including when holding off King Jock over a mile here in May. He loves the track and is always difficult to peg back once hitting the front. STEINBECK is bidding to get back on track after defeats behind Canford Cliffs at the Curragh and Ascot. He reportedly lost a shoe in the St James's Palace Stakes where he attempted to make all and didn't appear suited. He was a long way in front of stablemate Lord High Admiral in the Dewhurst and it will be a surprise if the positions were reversed here. Bea Remembered couldn't handle Listed company at the Curragh last time but Jim Bolger has no qualms about running last week's Curragh maiden winner Vita Venturi at this exalted level and he has won this twice in the last five years.
