      Verdict

      Trooper Bisdee reappeared with a victory over this trip at Yarmouth and bounced back from a poor run at Sandown to make much of the running over 1m6f at Bath. Dropping back in trip shouldn't be a problem in these conditions but a penalty may hand the initiative to PORTORO (NAP). Totally unfancied in three starts at Kempton, he made his handicap debut over 1m2f on soft ground at Salisbury and turned it into a procession. He's been hit with a 13lb rise but can go in again. Selenachorus was beaten narrowly on her handicap debut over the course and distance though that was on fast ground. Optician's best run came on good to soft so he should handle the going.
