        Verdict

        Red Linnet is selected to turnover some better fancied rivals on this, her initial outing on the turf. Trained by Michael Bell, she stepped up from a very encouraging racecourse debut to beat one of today's rivals Always Bold at Lingfield. There was a lot to like about the way she travelled and went about winning her race that day and a mark of 78 could be lenient. It is hard to envisage Always Bold turning around Lingfield form with the selection although his half sister, Tarakala was suited by an easier surface. Support for the Michael Jarvis trained All The Aces would be significant along with Animator, who has the benefit of race fitness after landing a Kempton handicap last time but has more on his plate to land this. This contest is a real conundrum with some potentially well handicapped sorts in it but we give the vote to Red Linnet.
