Verdict

Like his stablemate in the opener, Buckhorn Tom was due to run yesterday at Exeter. Time To Think was well beaten on his reappearance here but has been eased a couple of pounds since. Take The Mick ran well for a long way on his comeback at Lingfield and is interesting while last month's Bangor third Alanjou would be a threat if in the mood. Smart Catch is a course and distance winner but returns from a break and Tony Carroll also runs Vivacissimo. Nigel Twiston-Davies is also double-handed with bottom weight HERECOMESTHEHOLLOW (NAP) preferred to Rossoneri. Lightly-raced for his age, the former ran his best race so far when second at Chepstow in November and any improvement on that would make his hard to beat.
