        Verdict

        Lavender Moon, Shipboard Romance and Wicksy Creek catch the eye here, with Lavender Moon taken to follow up a good run last time and score here. Shipboard Romance ran well at Redcar in this company two outings ago but seems to run better on a firm surface and is opposed, despite his useful experience. Wicksy Creek ran promisingly on his debut, showing a little ability, and hopefully he will improve for the experience but may not be good enough. Lavender Moon was significantly dropped in class after a debut in a hot maiden where she wasnt disgraced, and although a beaten favourite, she lost her chance at the start, doing well in the circumstances to finish second. If Lavender Moon gets away on terms here, she will take all the beating and can take this poor affair.
