Verdict
A tight contest despite the lack of numbers and Persario is fancied to provide James Fanshaw with a double at the midlands venue. Lightly raced, the Bishop Of Cashel filly showed the right attitude to get off the mark in a low grade contest at Southwell last year, having been set plenty to do. Not seen since last June until reappearing at Warwick, she was made favourite for a Classified Stakes race, despite looking as though she had something to find with the majority of the runners that day, as four of the five to finish in front of her that day were all rated at least 4lbs better than her. However, while she remains on the same mark, she tackles more exposed sorts here and as she is open to improvement, better can be expected of her. Goodenough Mover has been a grand servant to connections and will be at home on the fast ground. However, he hasn't really shone so far this season, but he has won twice in July and it would be dangerous to write him off. Willhewish is probably high enough in the weights for the time being, but Logistical is interesting as the horse he beat over course and distance earlier this month, Vortex, gave that form a boost when winning at Nottingham over the weekend. Blackwell ruins his chances pulling too hard, so with Goodenough Mover expected to take them along at a decent clip, the race should be run to suit Persario.
