MRS MOGG, Cape Melody and Rosedale may be the three to concentrate on here with Tom Dascombe's runner selected. Hughie Morrison has his string in good order at present and Cape Melody was impressive over course and distance last time in first time blinkers and has an obvious chance under her penalty if taking as well to the headgear second time around. Rosedale made harder work of winning a Brighton handicap on her seasonal return but followed that up with a really sound run in a better race at Newmarket from a 5lb higher mark and should go well back against her own sex. Farmers Wish beat all bar a well handicapped rival at Yarmouth who was a shade unlucky not to win next time at Windsor so a case can be made for her but preference is for the lightly raced maiden Mrs Mogg. She has improved with every start this season and looked a shade unlucky not to open her account from a 2lb lower mark at Chepstow as she had to be switched at a crucial stage of the race but there was plenty to like about the way she quickened to chase down the leader and Mrs Mogg can have her supporters purring with delight.
