A tricky race to get involved in and one that should be viewed with an eye to the future as most of these have plenty to learn about the chasing game. Pontius had useful form over hurdles but has failed to complete over fences in two outings so far - thus may be best left alone for the time being whilst he gets to grips with his new venture. Sleight of Hand also has the same profile and may be best saved for another day if he fares better this time around. Hotters should be winning races in time and showed he is going the right way when staying on over a slightly longer trip at Folkestone last time out. However, the hurdles form of Hersov is far to solid to ignore at this level and he looks to have been found a good opportunity here.
