Verdict

NO MORE PORTER (NAP) had been running well all summer in much better handicaps before starting favourite at the Curragh a week ago but he got no sort of run and compensation awaits. Oisin Murphy got Dragon Of Malta home on a visit to Listowel and, though 3lb higher, James Ryan takes over with his 5lb claim. Church Mountain is just 2lb higher than when scoring over the track and trip in July, when stablemate Turbulence was behind, while San Aer will enjoy the testing conditions more than most. Gambe Veloci gained his only success on soft ground and has been surprisingly dropped in the ratings despite a good run at Navan.
