Verdict

After landing a beginners' event here last month, AH YA BOY YA wasn't disgraced a fortnight later behind Wins Now at Galway and looks ready to regain the winning thread. Retrievethelegend won very easily at Perth for which he is 4lbs higher but this is a tougher race. Blaze Trailer was always travelling nicely when scoring over the C&D in June but an early mistake unsettled him when he pulled up on a return visit last month. Banna Man has been in good form all year and won nicely at Galway last week. He's 6lbs higher and this is tougher but he's in such good shape that a quick follow-up is a distinct possibility. Sarteano has a big weight but he's been racing in much better company, including when a very good 7th in the Plate last week, and can get involved under his claiming rider.
