Glenargo gets a narrow vote in a wide open contest, Imperium and Blakeshall Quest look to be the main rivals. The selection has been running much better than his form figures suggest, he was only beaten three lengths in a Lingfield handicap off a mark of 64. In the context of this event that was a good effort and a repeat run should be good enough to take this banded prize. Blakeshall Quest has a bit to find on official ratings but has been going well on the all-weather at Southwell and Lingfield and he looks set to play a part in the finish. Imperium has put in three good efforts at Brighton recently and was successful at Wolverhampton earlier in the year. He drops into banded company for the first time and should make his presence felt. The pick of the others could be Four Amigos, but Glenargo will appreciatte this drop in class and he gets our vote.
