Verdict

Eden Gardens came here for his handicap debut last November and landed a real touch in easy fashion. He hasn't run subsequently, which is a concern, and is 9lb higher but could still be on a very tempting mark. FENNAAN is probably the safer option having won for the second time in four starts on the track earlier this month. He's up 4lb but appeared to have plenty in hand and can defy the extra. Reloaded, a winner at Pontefract last year, is slowly working his way back and has been left on the same mark as when runner-up over 7f at Wolverhampton where he was staying on strongly. Piece Of History didn't get the best of runs in a better race than this at Chelmsford and is by no means out of this despite a big weight while Corazon Espinado, a Class 2 winner at Epsom in May, will be better for a run at Chelmsford after a break.
