A tough race to call for punters where BROUHAHA gets the vote ahead of Cape Express, Swiss Act and Stand Guard. The selection receives weight from all his opponents here and coming from a yard in form he can probably take advantage. Tom Dascombe has found plenty of improvement from him since the turn of the year and he still shaped as though there was more to come when winning here over 10f last time. That win suggested that he should stay this extra furlong, though we will not know for certain until the race itself but he looks worth chancing. Cape Express will get every yard of this, having twice won on the slower Wolverhampton surface over 1m 4f, and he looks more than capable of improving, so a 13lbs rise for his last success may not be insurmountable. Swiss Act will also appreciate every yard here. He represents a stable going well and if handling the quicker surface and sharper track then he'll get competitive. Stand Guard has a great record here, with four wins from five attempts. All of those have come over 10f and although this is not his optimum he does stay it, so he is respected. Opera Prince shouldn't mind this extra furlong judged on his Windsor win in October, but he has to prove he handles the track and Brouhaha is preferred.
