In depth

Verdict

Island Legend, Best Trip and Mymumsaysimthebest have all struggled since winning earlier in the year, while Kylladdie may suffer the same fate today as he's gone up 7lb for winning over 6f here last month. Epsom winner Brynfa Boy should improve with a comeback run at Newmarket under his belt, but KINGSGATE CHOICE gets the nod. He's been campaigned in much better company on the turf since scoring at Windsor last summer, but with first-time headgear likely to sharpen him up and dropped in class today, John Best's sprinter can return to winning ways.
