Verdict
This is a small but select field in which VENIR ROUGE is taken to follow up from his recent Wolverhampton success with both Calculating and Prince Charlemagne worth noting. The selection is five pound higher since his latest win. He has won off a similar mark in the past and with conditions in his favour he looks the one horse in the race to stay on the right side of. Calculating is tough and consistent but he always finds a couple too good. Although he has won seven times to date he has finished second as twice as many times suggesting that he me be keeping a little up his sleeve. Prince Charlemagne has been performing well of late but he looks within the grip of the handicapper for the time being so is worth treating with caution. Venir Rouge is the form horse in the race and looks the percentage call.
