This may turn out to be an informative maiden. Raven's Lady was doing her best work at the finish over track and trip four weeks ago having been hampered at the start so may be suited by stepping up to a mile. AGATHONIA, on the other hand, should be suited by dropping back from a mile having not quite got home at Leicester on debut when easy to back. She gets the vote though Ascot second Carol would be a danger if stepping up again. Oudwood has only raced over 6f so far but Brogan is improving and the stoutly-bred Mawqed heads the list of newcomers to note which includes Haraka, who is closely related to winners in France, and Cheveley Park's Plead, who is a full sister to 1m2f winner Suitor.
